Breakfast & Festival on Saturday Nov. 17

9:00 am – 4 pm

Downtown Kingsville, TX

Everyone is invited for a weekend of food, fun and family as the City of Kingsville celebrates the Ranch Hand Weekend on November 16 -18.  The festival honors the city’s rich cultural heritage as one of the mainstays of the Texas ranching industry and will feature food, live music, cooking demonstrations, art, storytelling, book signings by local authors and more.

The Ranch Hand Festival was started five years ago partnering with the traditional annual Ranch Hand Breakfast held on the King Ranch® in order to bring visitors to Historic Downtown Kingsville and to celebrate our local heritage. Local museums, artists, businesses, community organizations, vendors and the university work together to provide cowboy-themed entertainment. The breakfast is always on the Saturday before Thanksgiving and the festival fills out the weekend. The events also kick off Kingsville’s La Posada holiday celebration.

Ranch Hand Weekend Concert

JUST ANNOUNCED – Michael Ray LIVE in Kingsville!

Michael Ray is coming to Kingsville for this year’s Ranch Hand Weekend concert November 17th at the JK Northway Expo Center!

The small-town Florida native hit big with two songs from his 2015 self-titled debut album.  “Kiss You in the Morning” and “Think a Little Less” both climbed up the charts to reach the top spot!

The Ranch Hand Weekend concert is brought to you by presenting sponsor Kingsville Ford.  Ticket proceeds will benefit Brush Country CASA, who’s mission is to provide trained and qualified community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children who are before the court as a result of suspected abuse or neglect.  Brush Country CASA’s volunteer force helps judges in the area make more informed decisions.

Country music artist Lauren Corzine will open for Michael Ray at the Ranch Hand Weekend concert.  She will also play an acoustic set at the Ranch Hand Weekend tree lighting in Historic Downtown Kingsville November 16th.

KRIS 6 News’ Katia Uriarte will take part in the Friday night tree lighting to kick off the weekend full of fun.  Saturday morning, thousands are expected at the King Ranch Hand Breakfast, taking place on the legendary King Ranch for the 28th year in a row.  The breakfast features authentic cowboy cuisine, cowboy storytelling and a rodeo demonstration.  It’s a rare opportunity for the public to get up and close with King Ranch’s famous Kineños.

The fun will continue in downtown Historic Kingsville once the breakfast wraps up with the Ranch Hand Festival along Kleberg Avenue.  The festival will include street dancers, a car show and live music.  It also gives visitors a chance to browse the King Ranch Saddle Shop in the heart of downtown.

Ranch Hand Weekend will also include a Ranch Rodeo brought to you by the Coastal Bend Cowboy Fellowship Sunday, November 18th.  Clifton Jansky will perform at that event and it will also include stick horse barrel racing, bouncy bull riding, roping events and goat dressing.

Tickets to the concert and breakfast will be offered in a combo package.  They go on sale September 14th.  Stay tuned to our media partners, K-99 Country and KRIS 6 News for artist updates, ticket giveaways and purchase information. Thank you.
